Brews rally to book a final spot

Brewmaster came back twice to eventually beat Charing 5-2 and reach the final of the Bodkin Cup.
The Premier Division side will now face one of Bromley Green, Market Hotel or Kennington in the final after both Brad Burton and Ben Squires-Quinn scored twice to see off a brave effort from Charing.
Division 1 Charing went ahead after just 20 seconds through Luca Fasoli, but Burton soon levelled. Ben Harte restored Charing’s lead but once again Burton equalised. Squires-Quinn scored twice in the second half for Brews, with a Gary Clarke goal sandwiched in between.
Carlum Macleod and Ryan Strand both scored twice as Kennington returned to the top of the Premier Division with an 8-2 home win against Mersham Sports.
There were further strikes from Brandon Alford, Lewis Horne, Jordan King and Tom Scorer, while Piers Fuchter and Matt Davies scored for Mersham.
Lydd Grasshoppers moved back up to third place in Division 1, and level on points with leaders Red Heathens and second place Nailbox, following their 2-1 win at Lolzors. Jordan Boorer scored both of the Hoppers goals, with Justin Howard replying for Lolzors.
Injury-hit Nailbox lost 5-3 at Ashstone Galacticos. Two goals from Ben Kesby and one by Lee Wild wasn’t enough to get anything out of the game as Sam Wilson netted four times for Galacticos and Shaun JenningsMcArdle added a fifth.
Cheriton AFC were held to a 3-3 draw at Hythe Royal British Legion. Ryan Hall (2) and Jack Taylor scored for Cheriton, with the Hythe goals coming from Chris Philpott, Phil Hayes and Jason Brazier.
Dan Cornell scored four times as Stanhope & Beaver Rangers brushed aside Troggs 9-0. Kai Friday, Luke Walder, Kingsley Wynter, Lewis Bagshaw and Jordan Hill were also on target.
Division 3 Ashford United 3rds caused a cup upset to go through to the semi-finals of the Sheber Trophy as they beat Division 2 AFC Guildhall 3-2.
Craig Hagley netted twice for United, adding to a Rhys Hodges strike. Guildhall had Nathan Simms and Steven Masters on the scoresheet.
Biddenden returned from their trip to Burton Grove 3-0 winners.
The Den went in at half-time with the game locked at 0-0, but two second-half goals by top scorer Jack Timms and another from Morgan Waite saw village side through.
Matt Moon and Ryan Norman both scored hat-tricks as Aldington won 9-2 at Park Farm Rangers. An own goal and strikes from Alex Williams and Chris Cryer completed their tally. Mark Potten scored twice for 10-man Rangers.
Sellindge SSC are also through to the last four as two goals from Dan Hawkes helped the Swans to a 4-1 home win over Ashford Cavaliers. Jordan Burton and Tony Dunham aslo scored for Sellindge. Steve Warren netted for the visitors.
