Following a forced break the previous week, parkrun returned to Victoria Park on Saturday morning with 272 entrants.

Aiden Gorham was first in for Ashford Striders, taking fifth place overall in a time of 19min

45sec.

He was followed by Linda Jean Delport 22.18, Justin Burden 23.22, Shane Snowwolf 24.45, Steve Rumsey 25.53, Alison Waters 28.21,

Vicky Stevenson 29.27, Brian Forrester 30.37, Hazel Forrester 31.26, Nigel Hills, 31.42, Martin Whittingha­m 32.46, Mark Archer 32.54, Kay Green 33.24 (course personal best), Michael Ruck 33.55, Danielle Moss 37.12, Emily Moors 39.43 and Tamsin Ritchie 42.00.

Cris Francis, Becca Hurley and Josh Whiten were the Strider volunteers.

As for parkrun tourism, Dave and Pam Hunt were in Jersey and completed the course in 25.28 and 39.55 respective­ly.

Nikki Crawley (29.10) and Justine (29.54) and Jason Wearn (29.56) travelled to Maidstone.

It was Folkestone parkrun’s fifth anniversar­y and Jacob Henwood was there to complete the course in 20.01 which was a personal best for him for that course.

Jeannette French took part in the Pont y Bala parkrun in Wales, finishing in 32.46. Rebecca Somerford was at the Parke parkrun, near Bovey Tracey, Devon, coming home in 34.55.

Lee Standen and Tyree Spicer took on the Cyclopark parkrun, Gravesend, and finished in 31.21 and 31.30 respective­ly.

The pair also completed the SVN half marathon at the Cyclopark on Saturday, recording times of 2:33.51 and 2:54.18. On Sunday, Becca Hurley completed the half-marathon in a time of 2.19.23. Nicki Crawley finished the Great Run Local in Kingsnorth in 27.55, along with Justine Wearn who came home in 29.24.

On marshallin­g duties for the Mount Ephraim 10k were Danielle Moss, Toyah Bicker, Vicky Stevenson and Brian Marsh.
