Service of Light: This annual service is held at St Mary’s Church, Church Road TN24 9DQ, Sunday October 27, 4pm. This is a time to remember our loved ones since departed and those who have died during this last year. It is an informal service and a moving one of hymns, poems, readings and reflection. There will also an opportunity for you to light a candle in remembrance of your loved one. Do come along and share in this service together or come a little earlier if you wish, as light refreshments will be served in the Church from 3pm.
Health Walks: In conjunction with the Health Promotion Unit, Health walks take place Wednesday mornings, 9.30am for a 9.45am start from New Hayesbank Surgery. The local walks are led by volunteer leaders and last for about one hour. There is no need to book. Just turn up on the day for a friendly welcome.

Suspicious Incident: There has been a suspicious incident in the New Rectory Lane area of Park Farm, Friday October 18 at approximately 7.15am. A white male around 18-19 years old was seen trying doors of cars and homes. He was wearing a hoody type top with fur around the hood. If you have any information please phone 101.

Footpath Group Walk: Bob will be leading a short walk on Saturday November 9, starting at The Flying Horse car park, 2pm. Mainly on pasture land, the route will be via the Charter Hall, Romden, Mainey Wood, Maltman’s Hill, Tilden Farm Hassock, Bakers Bridge. This is about three and a half miles. All welcome to join in, including dogs on leads.

Halloween Event: Celebrate Halloween at Willesborough Windmill, Sunday October 27, 2-5pm. There will be lots of scary things to see in the mill, plus face painting, story time, games and a craft table.
