Stourmouth is a peaceful village, not too far from the shop and butchers at nearby Preston. There are delightful places to go for walks and you can enjoy a drink or a pleasant meal at the Rising Sun, which is less than a minute’s walk. Canterbury, with its high street stores, individual shops, bars and restaurants is only about eight miles away, the medieval Cinque port town of Sandwich is even less.
