There was a mixed bag of results in the third round of the Kent Sunday Premier Cup.

Two league sides crashed out in the final regional qualifying round, but there were celebratio­ns in Southborou­gh as Bromley Green reached the full county draw with a 4-1 win at West Kent Sunday League side Armada.

Goals from Kieran Shrimpton, Pat Kingwell, Matt Burdon and Luke Burdon helped the Green to victory.

Stanhope & Beaver Rangers lost 6-3 at Green Lane. Rangers’ goals were scored by Tom Collins, Joe Burden and Lewis Sheldon-Smith.

Jack Taylor and Craig Harding scored for Cheriton, who lost 4-2 at Thanet side Dolphin Kings United.

Dan Welsh (2) helped Hythe Royal British Legion into the last-16 of the Kent Sunday Junior Cup as they held on to beat York Arms 3-1. Dan Arnold was also on target.

Three teams from Ashford are now guaranteed a place in the full county draw of the Kent Sunday Junior Trophy with Division 2 South Willesboro­ugh reaching the last-16 with a 7-0 win over Lolzors Reserves. Mike Norris scored twice and there were further goals from Rhys Pryor, Lewis O’Leary, Tom Wadman, Mark Hilden and Ryan Hollingsbe­e.

Singleton Barn will now face Mersham Sports Reserves in their reschedule­d third round clash next weekend after their second-round opponents Tunbridge Wells Youth Ridgewaye Reserves were unable to field a side.

The scheduled third round tie between Fox Sunday and Troggs was cancelled due to overnight rain.

In t he Premier Division, Brewmaster beat Kennington 4-2 to move level on points with leaders Bromley Green.

An own goal and a Kris Melachrino strike put visitors Kennington ahead but Brews levelled through Matt Clarke and Brad Burton. Second half goals from Burton and Louis Plumridge sealed the victory.

Rob Clark hit five goals to help Mersham to a 10-2 win at Lolzors.

Other goals came from Sam Wilson, brothers Ewan and Luke Stanley and Tom Wilson. Matt Jarvis and Farid White replied for the Pumas.

Sellindge SSC made it seven wins from seven games in Division 1 as they beat Lydd Grasshoppe­rs 3-0.

The Swans moved five points clear at the top thanks to goals from Ross Godden, Tony Dunham and Billy Somerville.

Horsebox Bars won 2-1 at home to Aldington. The visitors opened the scoring through Matt Moon but efforts from Chris Gillam and Jamie White saw the hosts to victory.

James Fraser scored his ninth of the season to help Charing to a 5-3 win at Folkestone United. Robbie Burn (2), Luca Fasoli and Ben Harte were also on target, cancelling out goals from Reece Mooring, Callum Russell and Dave Croker.

George Mabb helped Ashford Cavaliers to a 3-1 win at Ashford Spartans in Division 2. Further goals from Paul Mabb and Bradley Taffurelli sealed the win. Liam Edmonds netted for Cavaliers.

Goals from Adam Mercer and Dan Sims earned Hamstreet a 2-1 win at Biddenden (George Large).

Luke Goddard netted a hat-trick as Mersham Sports Reserves moved to the top of Division 3 with a 5-0 win over Kingsnorth Pilgrims. Adam Bellman and John Duke also scored.

Smeeth & Brabourne won 6-3 at home to Folkestone United Reserves. Tom Keaveney and James Evans both scored twice with the tally completed by Kubo Grynko and an own goal. United replied with through Ryan Jeffrey (2) and Ashley Sales.

Rhys Hodges’ hat-trick helped Ashford United 3rds to a 9-2 win at Aldington Reserves. United raced into a 5-0 half-time lead thanks to Joey Wealthylan­d (2), Tom McDonald (2) and Hodges. Goals followed from Craig Hagley, Hodges (2) and Sam Wood. Aldington scored through Kevin Ruane and Jack Hollamby.

Bromley Green Reserves defeated Pilgrims Sunday 4-2.

Ryan Jeffrey and Asa McKenzie hit doubles in McDonald’s 5-2 win against Ashford Spartans.

Tom Wilmhurst made up the tally, with Michael Crook and Simon Lockerby scoring for Spartans.

Scott Burden, Jon Hunt and Nathan Piggott scored for FCS in their 3-0 win over Baptist Ballers. Jack Tomlin hit the goals in New Locomotive’s 2-0 win against FC Sparta. Wye Muga got the better of FC Singleton

2-1 with goals from Josh McCarthy and Isaac Wright.

Jenson Newbury hit Singleton’s goal.
