Lewis O’Leary scored twice to send South Willesboro­ugh into the quarter-finals of the Kent Sunday Junior Trophy.

They returned from their trip to Gravesend with a 2-1 win against Marlee Royals.

O’Leary opened the scoring inside the opening five minutes, but the hosts levelled things up. However, in the second minute of injury time O’Leary popped up again to send South Willesboro­ugh through.

Fox Sunday’s run came to an end after two previous penalty shootout victories in the competitio­n as they crashed out on spot kicks after holding Sheerness East to a 2-2 draw at the end of normal time.

Fox’s goals, one a penalty, came from Tom Wilmshurst.

Also bowing out were Division 3 side Mersham Sports Reserves who were beaten 3-1 at home by Park Regis Fountain from the Medway Sunday League.

Mersham’s goal was scored by Luke Goddard.

Meanwhile, Hythe Royal British Legion’s Kent Sunday Junior Cup interests are over for at least another season as their run was ended by Sutton Common Rovers in a 2-1 home defeat.

Dan Arnold scored Hythe’s only goal of the game against the opposition from Croydon.

In the Premier Division, Stanhope & Beaver Rangers ended leaders Brewmaster’s unbeaten record with a 2-1 home win.

Goals from Luke Walder and Liam Sheldon-Smith saw Rangers to the win.

Josh Squires-Quinn scored for the Brews.

Bradley Baker netted five times as Market Hotel got themselves back into the title race by beating Red Heathens 8-3.

Craig Haynes hit a brace for Red Heathens, with the hosts’ other goal coming from former Crystal Palace forward and Wales under-21 internatio­nal Gareth Williams.

Robbie Greenfield scored for holders Kennington who returned to winning ways to book their place in the semifinals of the Bill Hills League

Cup. They just got the better of Mersham Sports, 3-2.

Rob Clark and Tom Wilson netted for Mersham.

Ben Ashton scored three times as Cheriton AFC became the first team to claim any points from previously unbeaten Division 1 leaders Sellindge SSC in their 7-2 away win.

At the other end of the table, Folkestone United pulled clear of the bottom two and up to sixth place with a 5-2 home win against Lydd Grasshoppe­rs.

Robbie Westbrook netted a hat-trick for United, while Josh Baker and Jed Burns were also on target. Grasshoppe­rs replied through Ricky Bingham and Jordan Boorer.

Leaders Hamstreet emerged victorious in the battle of the top-two in Division 2, winning 4-2 with goals from Joe Spicer (2), Daniel Woodcock and Jake North. Park Farm replied through Adam Draper-Lewis and Mark Potten.

Nathan Sims scored a last-minute winner as AFC Guildhall moved back up to second with a 3-2 away victory at Ashford Spartans.

An earlier effort from Sims and an own goal saw James Walton’s side claim all three points in dramatic fashion to cancel out strikes by Will Lawrence and Ben DeebleRoge­rs.

Five goals from Ben Allen helped Troggs to an 8-4 home win over Burton Grove.

Rob Giles (2) and Sam Lopez added to the tally, with Burton Grove scoring through Andy Crouch (2), Jurgen Ahmetaj and James Ross.

Kieran Funnell scored both goals for Biddenden who defeated Ashford Cavaliers 2-0.

Ashford United 3rds came out on top in the battle of the two promotion rivals in Division 3, beating previously unbeaten Singleton Barn 4-1. Tom McDonald hit a hat-trick for United as they moved up to second place.

Rhys Hodges added to the tally, with Ricky Harden scoring for Singleton Barn.

An excellent strike from Bradley Humphrey helped Pilgrims Sunday to a 1-1 draw against Smeeth & Brabourne (Jack Combes).

Sid Hone and Jordan Osborne scored twice as Bromley Green Reserves defeated Charing Reserves at home 5-1.
