Fundraiser for tragic mum, 20

-

A fundraiser has been set up to raise money for the family of young mum Elle-Mae Wood.

The 20-year-old’s body was found on the coastbound carriageway of the M20 near Junction 10a last month.

A police investigation into the incident in the early hours of Sunday, June 14 is still ongoing.

Her family described the Elwick Road resident as a devoted and wonderful mother to her young son Kian.

Now a JustGiving campaign, set up by Hayley Bethal, aims to raise a minimum of £1,500 for the family .

It had already surpassed its target when the Express went to press.

Ms Bethal says the money will go towards funeral costs, as well as helping “take the pressure off a family left heartbroken”.

She explained: “Any funds left remaining will go towards her son Kian’s future.”
