Otterpool directors appointed

-

Five directors have been appointed to join the board overseeing the development of the huge Otterpool Park scheme.

It comes after Folkestone and Hythe District Council (FHDC) approved a plan to set up a new business to drive forward the proposed development, destined for land on and around the former Folkestone Racecourse.

The new business is called Otterpool Park Limited Liability Partnership (LLP).

Following an application process, five new directors have been appointed.

This includes three independent directors, including Ashford Borough Council’s Sally-Anne Logan, project manager for the South of Ashford Garden

Community, which includes the Chilmington, Court Lodge and Kingsnorth Green developments.

Bosses say the aim of the LLP is to lead on the delivery of the project as master developer, ensuring it can be “run efficiently while not distracting FHDC away from its other responsibilities”.
