Colin Bullen continues with his right-wing tirades, this time against protestors, claiming they’re against the wrong targets (which means only the ones he doesn’t approve of).
In fact, Extinction Rebellion have criticised China for its lack of action and indeed an XR group
is trying to be active in that country, albeit greatly hampered by their government, sadly.
He’s previously claimed he opposes much of what the Tories are doing, but rarely, if ever, says what about. Where are his protests against the plans to curtail demonstrations, which could even affect him if he wanted to spontaneously turn up in his town centre?
In my view, Covid-19 alone has caused far greater ‘serious nuisance/disruption, loss of business and sadly loss of life’ than any amount of XR, BLM, women’s vigil, anti-racism/ homophobia, pro or even antimigrant demos, etc put together. The same can be said for the climate change events, here and around the world.
There is so much more which this government in particular is doing or proposing across so many different areas, from education to the NHS, or dodgy trade deals and beyond, which needs to be challenged right now. All Mr Bullen seems able to do is his own version of Monty Python’s ‘Aw, when I were a lad’ and/or complain about those actually trying to tackle the very real problems affecting people today.
