Whitefriars in Bloom will be formally launched at the Canterbury shopping centre on Saturday, May 27, with a summer garden party in Whitefriars Square from 11am to 4pm, with free activities, including jazz, face painting and refreshments, plus plant and craft stalls and a bee display by Canterbury Beekeepers. As well as planters there will be floral displays and hanging baskets across the centre and a bandstand for free live gigs. Details at whitefriars.eu
