Big-screen magic out of doors
Now in its ninth year, the Luna Cinema’s summer programme brings cinema to some stunning settings across Kent. Running from July to October, this week is the turn of Swanley Park, which will be screening The Bodyguard, starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, on Thursday, July 20, at 9pm.
The next screening will be at Leeds Castle when the epic Gladiator, starring Russell Crowe, comes to the outdoor screen on Friday, July 28, at 9pm, with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in Pretty Woman showing on Saturday, July 29, at 9pm.
Later in the year, Rochester Castle will screen Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone on Friday, September 29, at 7.30pm, and on Saturday, September 30, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing at 7.30pm. The last Kent screening will be on Sunday, October 1, with Jurassic Park, starting at 7.30pm.
