Festival hosts Kent’s finest

-

The 22nd Create Music Festival this weekend will host more than 40 bands, solo performers, DJS and acts from the area on Saturday, July 22.

The line-up for the festival in Victoria Park, Ashford, includes ska legends, The Selecter, supported by

Riskee & the Ridicule and Kent’s garage rock band, the Bay Rays headlining the Revelation Ashford stage.

The Bay Rays come fresh from their recent BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale session with Huw Stephens. Following on from last year’s performance from David Live, the David Bowie tribute act will return for a two-hour show at Revelation Ashford on Friday, July 21. Create Festival organiser, Chris Dixon, said: “We believe the line-up is a good mix of high quality local bands, up and coming artists, and individuals playing in front of a crowd for the first time.”
