Old friends struggle to balance adult life with nostalgia for the past as they careen through their 40s in this eightpart Netflix comedy drama, directed by Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall).

The lynchpins of the series are Ethan (Keegan-michael Key) and his wife Lisa (Cobie Smulders), who move back to New York, where they reunite with their Harvard University buddies Marianne (Jae Suh Park), Max (Fred Savage), Nick (Nat Faxon) and Sam (Annie Parisse).

It transpires that Ethan and Sam have been cheating on their spouses with each other for years and their newfound proximity reignites the flames of passion that will tear apart both marriages and force members of their close-knit social circle to choose sides.
