Two magical summer shows
FIVE FAMILY TICKETS AT WAKEHURST UP FOR GRABS TO....
W akehurst, Kew’s Wild Botanic Garden in Sussex, will be playing host to two exciting family outdoor theatrical performances from August 31 to September 3: ‘The Wind in the Willows’, and ‘The Dream Fairies – Adventure Through Bubble Wood’, and the KM Group are teaming up with Wakehurst to offer FIVE family tickets for two adults and two children to any performance of either show on Thursday, August 31. THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS Based on the story of The Wind in the Willows, this production brings to life Kenneth Grahame’s classic story of life on the riverbank with Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter and, of course, Mr Toad.
This critically acclaimed outdoor theatre production first appeared at Wakehurst last year and is back by popular demand. Set against the magical backdrop of the Mansion Pond, it is packed with much-loved colourful characters, music, song and laughter.
The Wind in the Willows asks you to pack a picnic, pack the kids and join in the fun! Suitable for adults and children of all ages. THE DREAM FAIRIES The Dream Fairies - Adventure through Bubble Wood, is set in the perfect location of a deep woodland dell at Treetrunk Trek, in the heart of Wakehurst’s beautiful botanic garden.
In this production, the adventurous Honeysuckle unexpectedly meets the fairies from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
She loses her wings and the Dream Fairies – cheeky Mustard Seed, fluttery Moth, daring Cobweb and sweet Peaseblossom fly off course on their way to Fairy Land. Together, with the help of all the little elves and fairies, they go on an adventure to find Honeysuckle’s wings and the special map which will guide them home.
Children aged three to eight will be totally captivated. This production is full of sing-along, clap-along songs plus bubbles and acrobatics! Children are invited to come dressed as their favourite fairies or elves.
