A cup of charity

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, organised by Macmillan, is on Friday. Anyone can host their own coffee morning and make a donation – last year the event raised £29.5 million.

The first coffee morning was held in 1990, asking people to gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan. Since then more than £165.5 million has bene raised for Macmillan, helping ensure those who face cancer don’t do it alone.
