Kentish Express Ashford & District - What's On
Apple night
Learn about the historic apples on offer at the National Fruit Collection – and get to taste them too. As part of Maidstone Museum’s series of Museum Lates evenings, there will be a talk from a representative from Brogdale, near Faversham, celebrating the annual harvest on Thursday, September 28, discussing the 4,000 varieties of fruit trees, followed by a spot of tasting. The museum will be open, so you can look around the galleries afterwards and the cafe will be open. Doors open at 6pm and the talk starts at 6.30pm. Tickets for over-18s cost £5 each.
