Award-winning Story Pocket Theatre bring their epic adventure of love, chivalry and magic to the Tonbridge theatre. Suitable for children aged seven and over, the fast-paced story is told with sword fights, slapstick humour, puppetry and storytelling. The stories of King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, Sir Lancelot, the Lady of the Lake and the sword Excalibur. The show is at 3pm on Sunday, October 1, and tickets are £10. YOUCAN RUN! LEEDS CASTLE SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1
Returning to the castle just outside Maidstone, the Youcan Run has a 5km and a 10km route, raising funds to support young people in Kent and the South East whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Entry is £15 – and under-18s £10 - and includes a commemorative medal, T-shirt and post-run entry to the castle and grounds. FOSSIL ROADSHOW MAIDSTONE MUSEUM SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30
Take along your fossil finds to be identified by the Medway Fossil and Mineral Society; play fossil games and handle some fascinating fossils at the event at the museum in St Faiths Street. The roadshow runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm and includes face painting. There may be a small charge for some activities.
