The theatre is staging various productions for half term. This weekend it’s stories from books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler with live music, puppetry and characters from Tiddler, Monkey Puzzle, The Smartest Giant in Town and A Squash and a Squeeze. 2. MEET THE SUPERHEROES SPA VALLEY RAILWAY, TUNBRIDGE WELLS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10 AND SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11
Superheros Owlette, Catboy and Gekko from the PJ Masks will be at the Spa Valley Railway at the weekend to greet fans arriving on trains hauled by a steam and diesel locomotive from Tunbridge Wells West. 3. SCAVENGER HUNT BETTESHANGER COUNTRY PARK, NEAR DEAL SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10 TO SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18
Kick off half term by testing your tracking skills with the Scavenger Hunt. It runs until Sunday, February 18, from 10.30am to 3pm each day. Families must look for 16 picture clues. There’s a prize at the end of the trail which includes an obstacle course. It is £8 and £6 for children. Under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult. 4. A KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR ROCHESTER CASTLE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10 TO SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18
There’s family fun at Rochester Castle throughout half term until Sunday, February 18, starting this weekend, with a Knight in Shining Armour heritage trail. Visitors can try to find the knight’s armour and win a small prize. Running from 10am to 4pm each day, normal entry prices apply.
