Simply Ice Cream, Kent’s award-winning ice cream maker from Bonnington, near Ashford, is branching off into a new direction with the creation of an elegant kitchenware range. Combining the elegance of an embossed logo and the Simply Ice Cream sky blue trademark colour, the range is designed to stand up to day-to-day use while being a quality artisan range. Available online, the new range comprises ice cream bowls, teacups and portable cool bags to keep your ice cream pots cool.

The crockery range is hand painted, microwave and dishwasher proof and costs from £7.95 for the cups and from £8.50 for the bowls. “We have put a lot of time into the design of this range to make sure that it complements our luxury artisan brand,” said managing director Sally Newall.

“The bowls are designed for ice cream as the chunky ceramic helps to maintain the temperature keeping ice cream cool, or soup hot. “Since 2008 we have built up a wonderful base of loyal Simply Ice Cream fans, people that love rich indulgent handmade ice cream, really like the luxury high cream content flavour of our range. It was through the suggestions of customers at shows and events suggesting a kitchenware range that led us to create a really unusual range.”
