Stompin’ Dave and Earl Jackson started out together back in 2012 and have been performing together ever since. Stompin’ Dave is best known for his madcap flatfoot dancing and award-winning banjo picking, while Nottingham-based guitarist and vocalist Earl Jackson is a well-known figure on the British blues and rock n’ roll circuits. He has made appearance­s on BBC radio and TV including the Jonathon Ross show. Born of Jamaican parents in Lambeth in 1964, Earl was heavily influenced by Gospel music. The pair will be at the Lighthouse pub in Deal on Friday, April 6. Entry is free and live music starts at 8.30pm.
