Kentish Express Ashford & District - What's On

A band that don’t do idle

-

In a time of polarised politics and murky waters, IDLES are there to remind people that it’s OK to dance and laugh and sing in the face of adversity.

Bristol’s finest post–punk polemics have been promising to do great things for some time now, and with their debut album Brutalism they fulfil that promise. Politically charged, refreshingly confrontational and infectiously volatile, Brutalism aims to capture the intensity of their live sound. The November 2016 release of their single Well Done saw the band rise to No.1 on Spotify’s Viral Charts, with airtime on Radio 1 and Radio 6.

They play Ramsgate Music Hall on Thursday, April 12, and the night is sold out, before they head off for festivals, including Are You Listening? and Latitude.
