The Gould family dominated Littlebourne’s 257-run demolition of Wye in 1A East on Saturday, with brothers Byron and Sully putting on a monster secondwicket stand.
Byron smashed 173 and younger brother Sully made 147, with Josh notching an unbeaten 32 as the hosts amassed 383-5 from 40 overs.
Robbie Loomer then took 4-32, Josh Gould 3-21 and dad Graham Gould 2-24 as Wye were bowled out for 126 in reply.
James Creed hit 78 but Sheldwich suffered a fivewicket defeat at home to Holcombe & Blue Bell Hill in 1A Central.
Eight of his team-mates failed to reach double-figures as the hosts were dismissed for 137 – a total which took the visitors just 32 overs to surpass despite James Harris’ 2-25.
Canterbury 3rds fell just short against Folkestone 3rds in the same division.
Tony Mitchell took 4-21 to restrict the hosts to 165-9 but Luke Harris’ 38 was as good as it got for the city club and despite a late flurry they were dismissed 14 runs short in the final over.
Hugh Roberts took 2-19 but Littlebourne 2nds went down by 29 runs at Borstal in 2A East after being bowled out for 161.
Sturry were blown away for just 49 on their way to a 79-run defeat at East Langdon in 1B East.
Stephen Larnyman scored 23 of the runs after Steve Clifton had taken 2-7 in Langdon’s 128 all out.
Street End’s game at home to Hawkinge in the same division was abandoned due to an unfit ground.
Danny Beeson claimed a superb 6-14 in eight overs to inspire Herne Bay to victory over Nelson in 2B East.
Jeremy Taylor top-scored with 26 in Bay’s modest 113 all out but Beeson helped skittle the visitors for 93 in reply in 27 overs.
Nonington 3rds enjoyed a 20run win against their Ashford Town counterparts in 1C East at Wingham.
No player surpassed the total of 28 extras as the home team posted 141-9 but Paul cork took 4-10 and Harry Bowman 3-29 to see their side to victory in 37 overs.
