Andy Coleman collected six wickets and conceded just two runs to help Littlebourne 2nds to a huge win over Little Chart in Kent Village League Division 5 on a soggy Sunday. Tony Beer cracked 69 and Tom Anderson a fine 95 as the hosts amassed 235-6 before Coleman stole the show as the visitors were dismissed for just 111 in their reply. Jake Smith, David Mathews and John Stevens all posted half-centuries for Ash as they overcame Great Chart by 134 runs in Division 1. Mathews scored 54, Stevens 52 and Smith 50 as Ash posted 259 before bowling the hosts out for just 123 in reply. The rain meant there was no result between Littlebourne and hosts Harvel and Street End and Stone-in-oxney in the same division but Dan Mchugh hit 61 for Wingham as they edged to a 21-run win at Sheldwich, also in Division 1. Mchugh helped the visitors post 169-7 before bowling the hosts out for 148. Tyler Hill were edged out by visiting Selling by one wicket in Division 2 after being restricted to 131-9, while in Division 4 Wingham 2nds were skittled for just 87 chasing visiting Saltwood 2nds’ 251-5, losing by 164 runs. After bowling Eastchurch out for 101 in Division 5, Boughtonunder-blean registered a sixwicket win, while Harbledown 2nds were whipped out for just 70 chasing visiting Rolvenden’s 134-5 in the same division. In Division 6 Sturry suffered a five-wicket defeat at home to Frittenden after being restricted to 124-9.
