Birch hits 174 as leaders march on

Dan Birch blasted his way to 174 as Division 1 leaders Wingham piled up 304-7 on their way to a 137-run home win over Great Chart.
Opening partner Paul Bennett hit 65
Chart batting solidly as Wingham used nine bowlers, finishing on 167-3.
Skipper Gavin Dixon (44) and Toby Vaughan (36)) were Harbledown’s top scorers in a total of 199-8 at Egerton.
However the home side eased to 2032 to win by eight wickets.
Robbie Loomer’s unbeaten 58 and Mario Draper (54) led Littlebourne to 276-8 on their way to an 182-run win over 10-man Bapchild.
Jack Parr and Graham and Byron Gould then took two wickets apiece as the visitors struggled to 94-9.
Aaron Bennett hammered 154 in Chestfield’s massive 383-4 in their 275-run win over Borstal 2nds (108) in Division 6.
Daniel James finished with four for five in 6.4 overs.
Nick Myers starred with bat and ball guiding Selling to a six-wicket win at home to Wye in Division 2
Myers hit 59 not-out and Carter 34 not out in a total of 213-4.
Earlier Myers took 3-29 and Ben Carter 3-32 in Wye’s 212-9,
Richard Keir hit 56 as Tyler Hill (119-4) beat Detling 118 five wickets.
Keir also produced an outstanding catch to dismiss the home side’s top scorer.
Karl Sutcliffe then took five for 13 in six overs to rip out the tail – all his victims failing to score. .
Richard Collins hit 19 fours and four sixes in his score of 148 out of Exiles at Stelling Minnis’ total of 276-5 in their 164-run win at Borden (112-9).
Daniel Marshall hit 56 as Norton Sports (188-6) beat Wingham 2nds (169) by 11 runs. David Clipstone was last man out for 73, James Robinson took 5-21.
Andy Coleman hit 48 in Littlebourne 2nds (129) five run win at nine-man Bilsington (124) in Division 5.
Doug Lewis made 77 as Boughtonunder-blean (204-6) won by six wickets at Harbledown 2nds (203-4 - Henry Roberts 82).
