A 27-year-old man has admitted drink-driving in Canterbury and driving without insurance.

Petrut Tanase was pulled over in a Renault Scenic in St Peter’s Place on July 3.

A breath test revealed he had 74 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of his breath. The legal limit is 35. Tanase, of St John’s Road, Faversham, was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a £500 fine.
