Stand-up comic’s musical role

Stand-up comedian Phill Jupitus is taking a starring role at the Marlowe Theatre as Lord Scrumptious in muchloved musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from Wednesday, August 24, to Saturday, September 3.

Lee Mead, of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat fame, will play Caractacus Potts. Brookside’s Claire Sweeney also stars.
