Adalta CC’S Emma Lewis set a new women’s course record and personal best at the PMR open 10 in a time of 21.45. Robert Smart finished 17th in 21.46 with Grant Cousins 32nd in 23.17 on the Q10/1 course. Mark Jeffery finished second at Dunsfold to secure his 3rd cat licence while Jo Smith put in a storming ride up against a tough field at Cyclopark. Smith took the bunch sprint after pushing the pace several times throughout the race and put the power down to claim the win. Keith Watson put in another solo attack and managed to hold off the chasing riders as he followed up with another top podium spot in the men’s race. Watson broke away and in the closing stages dropped his fellow breakaway riders to cross the line solo. James Lane-pitcher carried on his run of great results with another win at Deal Tri Club’s duathlon at Betteshanger Country Park. Ciaran O’grady finished 14th at the London Dynamo Summer Road Race while team-mate Josh Wakeling was 27th.
