SATURDAY One mile: Reptile Rambles – starting at 9am and 11am from Samphire Hoe. If you have time, patience and enjoy an outdoor life, then collie cross Bracken could prove a perfect companion. Currently in the care of the Dogs Trust Canterbury, the two-year-old is said to be a sensitive boy who needs lots of positive interaction to build trust. Staff say he would also benefit from further training, which they can help provide, and is looking for an active family home - but with adults only. He especially enjoys country walks but can bark with frustration when on the leadp. Bracken also prefers a quieter environment, although could potentially live with another calm dog. For more information about him contact the re-homing centre on 01227 792505 or visit them in Radfall Road, Chestfield, CT5 3ER. Opening times are noon to 4pm, except Wednesdays, and until 7.30pm on Thursdays.
