Peace poems

An illustrated anthology of poems on the theme of peace has been published which includes prose by the Dean of Canterbury Cathedral, the Lord Mayor of Canterbury and children from St Peter’s Methodist Church.

Called A Child’s Dream of Peace, the beautifullyillustrated publication is the result of a unique collaboration and a series of poetry workshops held at the school during book week earlier this year.

Other contributors are national poets Brian Moses, John Rice and Dan Simpson.

It is illustrated by Ed Hunt with extra drawings donated by artist Sofiah Garrard.

It cost £9.99 is available via Amazon and will be on sale at the Christ Church University Bookshop and the Cathedral Shop, with proceeds going to the Children’s Society.
