Kentish Gazette Canterbury & District
Chosen cause will cash in
There is less than a month left to apply to be our Charity of the Year.
Selected causes will have the editor of this newspaper to champion their cause during 2017. The enhanced public profile delivered through the pages of this newspaper will make it easier for the chosen cause to attract funding and volunteers.
One of the causes applying will also receive £2,000 donated by Specsavers.
Submitting an application is easy. Visit www. kmcharityteam.co.uk to find out more.
Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: “Every good cause should consider applying and you do not have to be a registered charity to get involved.
Around the county we expect 10 causes to be picked by the editors with some small grassroots charities mixed in with a few larger organisations. No matter the size or nature of your charity, it is well worth applying.”
The deadline to apply for KM Charity of the Year is October 21.
