Town bounce back in style

Whitstable

-

Whitstable Town returned to winning ways with a 4-1 success against Lordswood at the Belmont on Tuesday night. After four games without a win – three of them defeats – the Oystermen took the lead after 19 minutes of the Southern Counties East League, Premier Division game through Kane Rowland. The second arrived shortly before the hour through Rob Gillman and Harris Rodgers made the game safe on 66 minutes with a third. Regan Payne pulled one back for Lords 18 minutes from time but there was still time for man-of-the-match Darren Marsden’s fine run and shot to be deflected home to make it 4-1 in stoppage time.
