Iron Room A maintained their 100% record and top position in the Premier Division with a 7-2 home win over Faversham A.

Phil Saxby was unbeaten for the Iron Room, with team-mates Russell Bates and Ray Jordan adding two more wins each.

Third-placed Hoath B could only raise two players for their home derby against second-placed Hoath A, who won 8-1 to keep up their challenge for honours.

An all-round team performance by Hoath C earned them a 6-3 win over their guests, Chestfield Warriors 1.

Clive Hollingsbee, Mike Howard and Chris Hearn shared the honours, all with two wins each for the hosts.

Heron B’s climb up the table stuttered against Herne Bay B, who won 6-3 away.

With a clean treble, Kell Davies led Chestfield Warriors 4 to a 5-4 Division 1 away win over Herne Bay D.

Second-placed Faversham B moved a point closer to the leaders with a 8-1 win over mid-table Iron Room B, reducing the gap to four points, with a game in hand.

Fielding only two players against the leaders probably wasn’t the best game plan Whitstable Natives A could devise as they lost 7-2 at home to Chestfield Warriors 3.

Third- placed Herne Bay C were taken to task by bottom-but-one hosts Choughs A, who won 5-4.

An undefeated Giulio Guariglia led second-placed Herne Bay E to a 6-3 Division 2 away win at Blean B.

Three conceded points were the deciding factor in the match between Whitstable Natives B and visitors Faversham C. Natives were the team lacking a player and they were made to pay as they lost 5-4.

Chestfield Warriors 12 extended their Division 3 lead to 19 points with victory over lowly Herne Bay K.

Chestfield Warriors 9 had to borrow George Marsh from Warriors 12 for their away tie against club-mates Chestfield Warriors 8 and it proved to be a wise choice as he won three games in his team’s 5-4 win.

A club derby match between Herne Bay I and Herne Bay J saw Bay I just pinch a 5-4 home win, thanks to two wins each for Dave Goddard and Les Taylor, plus a single win for Colin Chaston.

Sam and Adrian Millsted for Chestfield Warriors 19 overcame Chestfield Warriors 15, winning all their games, including the match doubles, to card a 5-0 Division 4 victory over Ricky Kay Jnr, Beth Dunkin and James Relf.

The win keeps them in second, just five points behind leaders Herne Bay L.

Kenny Mccaig and Owen Whatley both won a game each for Chestfield Warriors 17 in their away tie against Chestfield Warriors 18 and then added a 3-0 win in the match doubles to give Warriors 17 a 3-2 win.

In another club match between thirdplaced Chestfield Warriors 14, at home to bottom-of-the-league Chestfield Warriors 16, the home team just pinched a 3-2 win thanks to a win each for Dave Hunnisett and Tony Marsh, plus a 3-1 match doubles win.
