On the march

A protest march in support of migrant workers is being organised in the city on Monday by the Canterbury Action Network.

It is backing the One Day Without Us campaign, which calls on all migrant workers to down tools and is also a protest at American President Donald Trump’s policies.

The protesters will gather in the Dane John Gardens at 5pm and march through the city centre, including the Buttermarket and Whitefriars.
