Concert by Hawking film pianist

A pianist who featured on the soundtrack for the Oscar-winning film about Stephen Hawking, The Theory of Everything, will perform in Faversham next week.

On Thursday, February 23, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, Tom Poster, who has made appearances at the BBC proms, will be at the Assembly Rooms in Preston Street performing a concert of music by Mozart, Janacek, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Ravel, Gershwin and Chopin.

Tickets are £14, with concessions at £5 for students and under-16s. Members of Faversham Music Club go free. There will be light refreshments available in the interval.
