Driver charged after crash
A man will appear in court accused of leaving a couple riding a Harley Davidson with life-changing injuries after a crash in Harbledown.
Jeremy Mullins, 62, of Albert Street, Whitstable, has been charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, one of drink-driving and another of driving without insurance.
He was arrested at the scene of the accident on the A2050 on November 28. Police were called after a black BMW and a black Harley Davidson collided near the junction with Faulkners Lane.
The man and woman on the motorbike were taken to a London hospital with serious leg injuries. Mullins has been bailed to appear before Margate magistrates on April 20.
