Lib Dem campaigner Mike Sole is promoting their anti-car policies by calling for KCC to impose 20mph speed limits on all Canterbury villages (Gazette, March 16).

He says that residents in a poll by Bridge Parish Council supported it Did they ask all residents, or just a selected few?

Will these residents, including Mr Sole, also drive at 20mph through other people’s villages?

Seems they would not, as how many people are driving at 20mph already?
