Charity dance

A charity black-tie gala dance at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge has raised more than £7,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society. The event was organised by Jacqueline Offen, from Hawkinge, who was moved to support the cause after her father, John Offen, was diagnosed with the illness. Mr Offen, 91, was among those who enjoyed the evening.
