Stage version of classic story
An adaptation of a classic Charles Dickens novel will be on stage in Whitstable next week.
From Tuesday, March 28, to Saturday, April 1, watch The Lindley Players theatre group perform A Tale of Two Cities at the Whitstable Playhouse.
The novel, written in 1859, is set in London and Paris just before and throughout the French Revolution. It tells the story of French peasants living among, and belittled by, the French aristocracy, the divide between the aristocrats and poorer members of the community, and the similarities in London during that time.
The play, adapted by Matthew Francis and with music by Mia Soteriou, starts at 7.45pm each evening. Tickets are £10. Visit www.playhousewhitstable.co.uk
