Faversham League leaders the Market A had a 7-2 home win over the Brents B.

Darren Butcher, Ivan Boorman and Froggy Sparks each hit a 180.

The Railway stayed second with a 6-3 win over the Three Horseshoes B, having trailed 3-2.

The Market B continue their good form with a 5-4 away victory over the Brents A with Market skipper Nobby Gore winning the decider while Neville Boakes, Wes Gore and Craig Preston all hit maximums.

It was the return Castle derby this week with the A taking on the B but it was B who stormed to a 7-2 win, despite the A team’s Bob Mason hitting a shanghai check-out of 120.

The Bull A saw a 4-3 lead slip to a 5-4 loss to the Three Tuns A, for whom skipper Benn Swinfield won the decider, aided by a 118 check-out.

The Football Club travelled to the Three Horseshoes A and fell 5-1 down before rallying to make it 5-4 at the close.

There was a 180 from the Football Club’s Shane Love, a 105 check from the Shoes’ Paul Davis and a 100 check by his team-mate Jordan Harding.

The shorthande­d Three Tuns B lost 7-2 at home to the Bull B for whom skipper Dave Kirby hit a 180. from fourth to second. Anglers’ duo Mike Brett and skipper Gary Keeley, along with Divers’ Jason Adby each hit 180s, while Luke Adby checked out on 127.

The two teams occupying the relegation zone met and the Whitstable Cricket Club won 7-4 at the Tally Ho.

Benn Swinfield checked-out on 100, Tally duo Laurence Parker and Paul Betts each hit a maximum while Jordan Dadd hit two 180s.

In Division 1, all eyes were on the match between unbeaten leaders Chislet Colliery Club and third-placed Rising Sun.

An opening singles win from Paul Bunting, helped by a maximum, put the Chislet Club 4-2 but it was 5-5 when Chislet’s Terry Longland beat Riser skipper Alan Howlett to secure the points.

The East Station Snooker Club took advantage to consolidat­e second with a 9-2 home win over the Catholic Club.

An 8-3 home win for the Druids Head over the Heron sees the Druids move up one place to fourth.

Heron gained some consolatio­n with Bob Elliott hitting a maximum and Del Male hitting two 180s.
