A 8-1 home win for secondplac­ed Hoath A moved them to within two points of Premier Division leaders Iron Room A. Third-placed Herne Bay were their victims, as a hat-trick of wins for Phil Thomas and Ian Mileham, plus two wins by John Ferguson secured Hoath’s victory. Hoath C went down 6-3 at home to Faversham A in a mid-table clash with an unbeaten Harry Law the architect of the win for Faversham with three wins. Two-player Heron B lost 7-2 to clubmates Heron A. Division 1 leaders Warriors 2 went down 5-4 at home to Iron Room B and saw their lead over clubmates Warriors 2 cut to three points, having played a game more. Michelle Kingsland led the Iron Room to victory with three wins. Warriors 7 bounced back from last week’s 8-1 defeat to Warriors 5 to edge a 5-4 win in this week’s Division 2 derby. Aaron Hollingswo­rth was on song, winning his three games as Warriors 5 stayed second. Blean B were subjected to a 7-2 home defeat by a Bay G thanks to a treble by Simon Chambers, backed up by two wins each for Al Parkes and Danny Reardon. Dave Goddard saved Bay I from a home whitewash in Division 3 as Blean C won 8-1 with three clean wins from Laurie Newman and three others from Peter Cole. The win keeps thirdplace­d Blean equal on points with second-placed Warriors 10, who have a game in hand. Warriors 8 took full advantage of twoman Warriors 11 with Peter Paetow and Dave Hanson winning every game cleanly in an 8-1 win. Warriors 16 won their first game of the Division 4 season with a 5-0 derby win against Warriors 18, with two clean wins for Mark Holmes.
