Mill noise problem is blighting area

I see that the mill owners in Chartham are planning to open up the row of derelict houses that have been boarded up for so long.

I remember them saying that they had moved everyone out due to noise levels.

So what will they do to make the noise level more bearable? Will they be moving even more of their machinery and fans to the back of the houses in Rentain Road where the white noise is already at torture level? It used to be a nice place to live until about 10 years ago, when the noise level suddenly increased massively due to them placing huge air intake and outflow units right behind our house,
