Seriously, you’ve won!

-

When a charity called Jennifer Cox to tell her she’d won a car in a raffle, she thought it was an April Fool’s joke.

But the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust was totally serious and now Mrs Cox is the proud owner of a Mini Cooper.

She bought the winning ticket - ironically on Friday 13th - at Whitefriars Shopping Centre in May last year.

Jennifer and her husband were treated to a champagne reception and lunch at the Rowhill Grange Hotel and Utopia Spa in Dartford.

She said: “I was stunned to hear that my ticket was drawn – I thought it was an April Fool.

“I’ve never won anything other than an apron and a cookery book in a raffle at my local group. I still can’t believe it, I’m absolutely delighted to have won.”
