Get ready for a laugh as pair put on shows in city

Two awarding-winning stand-up comedians will be performing in Canterbury next week.

First up is Simon Munnery – star of his own TV and radio shows on BBC Two, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 4. He is celebratin­g 30 years in the business with a tour of his show Standing Still. He will be at the Marlowe Studio on Thursday, April 27 at 8pm. Call 01227 787787 to book tickets.

Funny man Tony Law will bring his new show to the Gulbenkian Theatre. The Canadian comedian, 47, who has appeared on shows including Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats, will perform at the Canterbury venue as part of a national tour. The show – called A Law Undo His-elf What Welcome – will visit on Friday, April 28.
