Ralph earns the decisive win in semi

Market A will play Castle B in this season’s Faversham Men’s Darts League Cup final. Market faced Brents A in their semi-final and took a 2-1 lead in the doubles before winning the opening three singles to claim a 5-1 victory. George Harris, Pete Davies and Kenny Boswell all hit 180s while Jordan Dadd checked out 164. It was much closer in the other semi-final which saw Castle B take on Three Tuns. Castle led 2-1 after the doubles and were soon 4-1 up but Tuns took the next three singles to level at 4-4. Keith Ralph won the deciding singles game to send Castle through. The first Plate semi-final saw the Football Club host Market B. Market led 2-1 and 4-2 and although the Football Club fought back each time, Paul Jones closed it out at 5-3. In the final, Market will face Bull B, who pulled off three straight wins to come from 3-2 down and see off Castle A 5-3. Three Tuns B trailed 3 Horseshoes A 3-2 in a reschedule­d league match but Tuns won three singles games in a row to prevail.
