Summer activities

The Hersden Majorettes will be holding a summer fun day next month.

They will be raising money for the group and the former mining village’s community centre.

Activities will include a raffle, tombola, live music, stalls, face-painting, refreshments, a rodeo bull, boot fair, belly dancers, candy floss, pony rides and a performance by the majorettes.

The fun day will take place on the Hersden Recreational Ground from noon to 6pm on Saturday, June 10.
