A shoplifter who stole goods worth more than £850 from stores in the city on a month-long thieving spree has been jailed for 28 days. Nathan Anderson, 29, of Rough Common Road, Canterbury, committed five offences in August and September last year, with Apple Watch accessories and perfume among his haul. He admitted the charges and was sentenced by Thanet magistrates.
