Theatre prize

A creative writing competition is offering primary pupils the chance to become boss of a major theatre for a day.

The contest is being run by the KM Charity Team as part of the KM Year of Reading campaign. Youngsters must write about which superhero they would like to walk to school with and why.

Entries should be handwritten on an activity sheet and titled ‘To infinity and beyond’. Submissions will be judged on creativity, awareness of the benefits of green travel, and quality of handwriting. The winner will enjoy a VIP behind-the-scenes look at the Hazlitt Theatre, Maidstone.
