Dancing at the drive-in
A rescheduled drive-in screening of Dirty Dancing in Canterbury is now taking place on Saturday night, .
The cult movie, postponed from last week, will be shown in the Giles Lane car park of the Gulbenkian Theatre at 9.15pm.
Now 30 years old, the Oscarwinning Dirty Dancing is a feel good summer love story which made Patrick Swayze a screen heartthrob.
The film will be shown on an Airscreen – a huge outdoor inflatable 9m x 5m screen.
While the seated area will have a sound system, the cars will be able to tune via an FM frequency on their car radios.
The site opens from 8pm and tickets cost £25 per vehicle or £10 for a deck chair. The film is a 12A certificate.
To book, go to www. thegulbenkian.co.uk or call 01227 769075.
