Angling for prize

An annual fishing competition will be held at Marshside fishery off Chitty Lane next month. The contest will run from 8am to 4pm on Saturday, August 26. There will be a cash prize offered for the largest fish caught on the day. Entry is £5. Call Gill on 01227 712040.
