-

If vegan comedy is your thing, then Conquest House in Canterbury is the place to be.

The historic Palace Street building will play host to the world’s first vegan comedy festival, compered by Canterbury stand-up Matt Hoss. All the comedians are vegan and while telling jokes they will promote their ideals during Viva Las Vegans.

Matt says: “The jokes are the same as a normal set, but it offers a safe recluse for vegans. There will be vegan treats and goodies available to be bought during the intervals.”

The vegan comedy acts will be Matt Adlington, Paul Ashwell and headliner Ishi Kahn-jackson, of the BBC Asian Network.

Viva Las Vegans is at 7.30pm on Thursday, August 3. Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door. They can be ordered on the Wegottickets website or from Conquest House on 01227 472953.
